How this collateral is handled
Advance is calculated on gold content at live spot. Numismatic or collector premium is not lent against — a graded rarity is valued at its melt, not its auction estimate. That is a limitation worth knowing before you ship.
Worth knowing before you ship
- American Gold Eagles are 22k but contain a full troy ounce of gold. Valued on content.
- Fractional coins are accepted; they simply take more pieces to reach the minimum.
- Numismatic premium is NOT lent against. Rarity value stays with you but does not raise the advance.
- Tubes and monster boxes verify faster than loose mixed coins.

- No. We lend against metal content only. If a coin is worth far more than melt, borrowing against it wastes that premium — sell or consign it instead.
- Are fractional coins accepted?
- Yes. You just need more of them to clear the $15,000 minimum.
- Do Eagles count as a full ounce?
- Yes — a 1 oz American Gold Eagle contains one troy ounce of gold despite being 22k.
